David Sykes

David has been Head Golf Professional at Heritage Golf Club since the course opened in Fall 2001 and was a Head Golf Professional for eight years prior to joining Heritage Club. He completed PGA Business School and was elected to the PGA membership in 1991. David manages all golf operations, directs Member golf tournaments and events, and is responsible for planning and executing golf outings for guests.
He is a PING Certified Club Fitter and has managed the Heritage Golf Schools program since its inception in 2002. He has been teaching golf to all levels of players since 1987 and especially enjoys teaching junior golfers. Golf runs in his family, David’s father is the men’s golf coach at NC State. He and his wife, Dawn, are the parents of three children - Alison, Samantha and Jackson.
   
  Bradley Pope

Bradley was raised in Coats NC, on a tobacco/grain farm.  After high school he attended Wayne Community College where he received his degree in Turfgrass Management. His golf course career started at Keith Hills Country Club in 2002.  From there he and his wife Abby  moved to Wilmington where they spent the next 8 years. He was blessed with the opportunity to become the Assistant Superintendent at Eagle Point Golf Club as well as Bald Head Island Golf Club during his time in Wilmington. The opportunity arose for Bradley and Abby  to return closer to home in 2014, where he became the Superintendent of the Meadows Golf Course at Prestonwood Country Club in Cary. 

Bradley and Abby have been blessed with two beautiful daughters, Hannah and Hailey. 

 
 

Richard Delfs

Richard is the Head Golf Professional at Heritage Golf Club.  He graduated from the PGA Golf Management Program at Sam Houston State University and elected into mebership in 2012.  He has played golf for over 20 years and has taught for nearly 10 years.  Richard teaches golfers of different ages and all levels of experience

 

Janice Ditello

Janice joined Heritage in January of 2016.  She comes to us after serving for 19 years at BallenIsles Country Club in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.  While there she held numerous roles in both administrative and membership departments.  She also planned and organized many member events through the years. While serving as the Membership Director, enrolling new members to the club, she also handles our catering and special event planning and will be happy to show you our many venues to meet your needs.  
Janice is enjoying living in Wake Forest as it now allows her to be close to her three adult children.  

 
Jeff Dowdle

Jeff’s specialty in low country cuisine began during his training in Charleston, SC. He worked in several downtown Charleston restaurants before his two year stint as executive chef at Rosebank Farms CafĂ© on Kiawah Island. After moving to Wake Forest, Jeff owned and operated Burkenstock’s in the historic downtown area before joining Heritage. During the renovation of the Heritage Golf Clubhouse in 2007, Jeff oversaw the change from a golf club grill to the concept of 1250 Heritage, providing a casual, elegant dining establishment befitting the community and atmosphere of Heritage.
Jeff’s menus and specialties have been featured in Metro Magazine, Triangle East Magazine and Heritage Magazine. Jeff and his wife, Amy are the parents of four children - Clayton, Baity, Walker and Campbell. The family is actively involved in Wake Forest area philanthropic projects.
 
Jeff Antes

Jeff was born and raised in Elmira, NY. After graduating from Syracuse University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Industrial Engineering, he served in the United States Air Force. After several operational flying assignments he expanded his mathematical and analytical background earning a Masters of Science degree in Operations Research. In addition to several analytical assignments, Jeff also held leadership positions at various levels of command.  After retiring from the military, Jeff has been involved in several customer service industries enjoying the opportunity to mentor young people and develop businesses.
Jeff’s position at Heritage provides the perfect opportunity to blend his analytical and customer service backgrounds. Jeff married his high-school sweetheart, Lori, and they are blessed with two married children and four grandchildren.
